MY WAY

I was lucky to be born in Georgia, in the mountains of ancient Colchis. I did not choose the place of my birth by chance - this place has a powerful informational-energetic field. It is well-known that The Mysteries of Colchis school (Steiner) functioned there, as well as a center for the secret study of esoterica and occultism.

I chose the way of an artist in my early childhood so that I could show the Light I had been given to see since birth. But throughout my way in art I have encountered a lack of understanding about what I mean by this Light. Let me explain: it does not refer to physical light but to a spiritual light (Lichtung – Heidegger) . I see this Light, I live in this Light, and I paint this Light.

Throughout my life I have frequently had the experience of leaving my physical body. Sometimes, people close to me were the witnesses of this process (initiation) , and they thought I had died. But in fact, when the soul leaves the body, it passes incredibly rapidly through a vibrating spiritual field and fuses with an eternal, endless, radiant entity and “there delights in integrity” (Morel). This is the highest bliss, a total concentration of primeval radiance and love, eternal life and existence, embracing the emptiness and vastness of the Universe. It is the delight of a soul dissolving in substance – the beginning of all things. This is not Maya, the veil of deception (the Vedas and Puranas) . For the east, it is Brahma and Dao, the merging of Jiva and Ajiva (soul and matter), the total unity of Yin and Yang (darkness and light). For the west, it is Xenophanes’ spherical being, Plato’s good, Eckhart’s and Tauler’s becoming one, Spinoza’s substance, Spenser’s unknowable, and Emerson’s over-soul.

When it returns to the body, the soul is pervaded by unconscious bliss and the desire for this peaceful state to continue forever. It is the unity of the microcosm and macrocosm (Ferriere), which is a complete synthesis of the celestial and earthly planes, and the unity of Plotinus’ concept of the seeing and seen, and what Dionysius the Areopagite describes as the return from the mother’s womb (extarversion) after absolute introversion. It is the harmony of soul and matter, and a truly conscious birth. And every such birth – an exit and entry – is a surge of infinite love and belonging to it. All of this enables me to be a pure conduit and create paintings such as Ascension 1966, Touch 1967, On the Way 1969, Eternity 1971, Aura 1986, Heaven 1991, Initiation 2006, Introversion 2009, Energy of Light 2010, Transformation of Light 2012, Out into Light 2013, Luxosphere 2016, Tenebraesphere 2016, Universe 2017, Vibration of the Universe Light 2017, Substance 2020, Ether 2020, and others.

These works are the product of an initiation and the comprehension of various mythological-religious, philosophical-esoteric studies, as well as of a triple movement: circular, spiral and straight (Indian, Alexandrian and Christian mysticism).

I believe, the cardinal principle of the Universe eternity lies in the balance of two opposing and inseparable forces - positive and negative, such as Light and Darkness, Love and Hatred, Good and Evil (statue Eternity 2016). The same way painting is created in harmony and interaction of light and dark, cool and warm colors. Leonardo called painting “true philosophy”, as painting itself embraces the first truth.

Each creator is represented by his works. Back in 1960s, I began to paint Light as a painting object (Ascension 1966, Touch 1967), and since 2000 Light has become the main object of my art (Vibration of the Universe Light 2015). Hence the name of my new style – Light-objective painting. In my opinion, this style is a continuation of impressionism, but unlike Claude Monet, who said: “I’ve always been inspired by the sun light”, I can say: “I’m inspired by the Light of the Universe”.
 
 The re-thinking the information from the spherical being of Xenophanes (6th century BC) to noosphere of Le Roy (biosphere – the sphere of life -  Eduard Suess, 1875; antroposphere – the sphere of man, Dmitry Anuchin, 1902; noosphere – the sphere of mind – Edouard Le Roy, 1927, and others) enabled me to expand the sphere of the planet notion up to the Universe infinity concept. I believe, the Universe has been created from a single substance, which Xenophanes called the spherical being. This globular all-embracing universal sphere has two aspects: Light and Darkness. And since the cause of the Universe eternity is the balance of these two forces, I suggest referring to them as luxosphere (lat. lux – light) and tenebraesphere (lat. tenebrae – darkness). I suppose, the unity and harmony of Light and Darkness of the Universe is the top stage of biosphere and noosphere evolution and the end-point of such evolution will be their fusion with luxosphere and tenebraesphere. The real nature of the Universe lies in their unity and harmony, like in Yang and Yin, in Jiva and Adjiva. The sphere of the Universe Light and Darkness has no beginning, no end. The true face of Light is Darkness, while that of Darkness is Light. Their indivisibility is created by the Universe Ether – the gravitation (lat. gravitas – gravity) and levitation (lat. levitas – lightness) wave field, which keeps the Universe in its harmony and life in its eternity.
 
Ether occupies the main place in my art lately. It is a substance of Light and Darkness, the beginning of everything, an overarching universal substance, a living thing of mind and matter. Ether is the entire Universe, “the thinnest all-pervasive matter”, as Aristotle called it. All these years my efforts were aimed at showing through painting the fusion of the sphere of the universal substance - Ether - with the eternal voice of space I hear all the time. And finally, as a result of a lot of experiments, this idea was realized. I managed to create on the canvas a multidimensional space using Light, color, style and technique. That’s how the Substance – Ether series of paintings appeared.
 
All my discoveries and inventions are based on information I received during initiation. Their precise structure contains the Universe code. And all of them, such as the Column of Light 2012, the Ray of Light 2012, the Center of Light 2016, the Sphere of Light cabin 2016, the Column of Light cabin 2017, continue and develop what has been created by various thinkers and scientists from Pythagoras to Reich, in particular the Barrel of Diogenes of Sinope, the Mirror Room of Leonardo da Vinci, the Egg installation of Michele Nostradamus, the Wardenclyffe Tower of Nicola Tesla, and Wilhelm Reich’s Orgone Chamber.  
 
The myths about what the Mirror Room of Leonardo da Vinci and the Egg installation of Michele Nostradamus were created for are not true. They say that the artist needed this room for a multifaceted vision and full appreciation of the model, and the prophet used his installation for isolation. While in fact, the purpose of both installations was permutation, that is the change in the consciousness to receive information and restore the links between man and the Universe, interrupted dozens of generations ago. Before the new era, and also in the first and second millennia of the new era, occult and esoteric centers, as well as outstanding artists, philosophers, scientists were trying to restore these interrupted links. It will take a long time to list those who have made a great contribution to the development of mankind.
 
The information about the Column of Light with its shape and all dimensions was given to me in the 1960s, when I was 18. But the realization of the idea began in the 2000s, first in my paintings, and later, in the development of the architectural ensemble the Center of Light project. The Center consists of a cylindrical column and square columns around it, that symbolize and unite the four cardinal points: east, west, north, and south. The Column of Light occupies the central place in the ensemble. It is a conductor of the Universe Light and Darkness bioenergy, where vacuum oscillation of gravitation and levitation fields atoms creates in it an electromagnetic, quantum vibrating wave, whose ether-dynamic energy flow fills our planet and spreads endlessly.
 
In the third millennium, a new era began – the era of Light and Love. Humanity is moving into a new development phase… All my inventions are the Universe Light bearers. They serve for the benefit of man and for the protection of our planet from all sorts of cataclysms. The Column of Light is the Universe messenger for peace, it cannot be turned into a weapon of destruction. Albert Einstein wrote: “We are not ready to make “a love bomb” yet – a device powerful enough to destroy hatred, selfishness and greed – all that devastates our planet.” I think, the Column of Light is the love bomb, Einstein dreamed of.
 
In my opinion, the cause of all human diseases is a bioenergy imbalance of the Universe Light and Darkness around and inside a human body. In 2017 I made the model of the healing device the Column of Light cabin, while it was built in 2019. Ether, the gravitation and levitation substance of the Universe Light and Darkness, generates in the cabin an electromagnetic, wave, vibrating field between man and device. It fills the cabin space and attracts an ether-dynamic flow of the Universe energy. Its electromagnetic, wave radiation restores the bio-energetic balance of Light and Darkness in all his organs and systems: osseous, muscle, and nervous (imagination, inspiration, intuition).
 
I’m sure, only with Love, in the unity of art, philosophy and science, to which Leonardo da Vinci, Wolfgang Goethe, Hans-Georg Gadamer and others aspired, humanity can complete its mission on our planet. Love is the key to everything, as is the harmony of gravitation and levitation, Light and Darkness.
